In addition, a dual fuel element can also be fitted, this means the towel rail will always be hot when the central heating is turned on and can also be hot in summer months when the heating is switched off allowing you to warm and dry towels during these times.
The dual fuel element is powered by electricity and can be controlled by using a fused spur to turn it on and off, it would be recommended to install an element with a thermostat and timer for both convenience and reducing energy bills
